Antique Art Nouveau Art Deco Kronheim & Oldenbusch Bronze Bulldog Figural Statue

Designed by the well-known company called Kronheim & Oldenbusch, this incredibly detailed original piece was created during the early hay day of their popularity. K & O Metal Novelties Company was in business from 1895 to 1939. Though this particular piece cannot be dated exactly, the Hallmark is one of the earlier hallmarks. Though the majority of their offerings were for bookends, they occasionally created amazing additional gems like this bulldog. I have not polished or cleaned the piece because some people like the dark patina and evidence of age. I leave it to the new owner to take action in this way. The piece is in beautiful shape and and beautifully detailed. Dimensions: 4.5"x 2.5"x 1.5". USA made.
