This is a vintage aluminum grease canister, by Turner Specialty Manufacturing Co. of Houston, Texas.
The can is made of lightweight aluminum and features an embossed "GREASE" label on the front.
It has a rounded, retro design with a brown knob on the lid, possibly made of Bakelite or plastic.
This canister includes an internal strainer to separate solid food bits from the reusable liquid grease.
They were commonly found in mid-century kitchens for storing bacon fat or other cooking oils.
