From what I have been about to find this canister is the the late 50’s to the early 60’s. The wood look and metal bands give this piece a very unique look. Of course, due to the nature of vintage items there may be blemishes, nicks or other small imperfections, which should be expected with an item around 60 years old. All if this just adds to the character of the piece. I tried to show any imperfections with the pictures I posted. Main thing is there are no cracks in the canister. It stands about 8 inches tall to the top of the lid and about 6 inches across.
