Fantastic vintage ceramic vinegar jug made in the People's Republic of China, can serve many functions. Made of brown drip-glazed as well as an authentic bamboo and wire handle. With everything packaged in plastic nowadays, these older ceramic storage containers for export are no longer being used and have become collectible in themselves. This particular container is very charming. It can still be used for liquid storage with the addition of cork plugs. The shape of the jug and spout are designed to dribble a little soy or vinegar at a time.
JUG: 9 1/2" in height; 6 " in diameter
HANDLE: 4" in height; 3 3/4" in width
CONDITION: imprinted on bottom and H and the #'s 018. A small chip on spout as seen in Pictures
