This unique collection deconstructs and reconstructs Daido Moriyama's photo book "Shinjuku," using it as a "material." The cutting-edge designer Shohei Yoshida takes Moriyama's timeless Shinjuku and adds further chaos, giving it the appearance of a futuristic city. With Keizo Kumakura as the printing director, this book is a must-see, featuring printing that reproduces the texture of cutting and pasting, and a striking pure white cover designed by the author himself.

"Another Shinjuku," deconstructed and reconstructed using all the pages of Daido Moriyama's masterpiece, "Shinjuku."

Snapshots are created by endlessly "cutting out" the vast external world into tiny fragments. My photo book "Shinjuku," published in the past, was originally created in this way. The many images of Shinjuku printed in that book were further cut into countless fragments by Mr. Shohei Yoshida, once dismantling all the images, and then reborn as the Shinjuku that Mr. Yoshida "now" experiences and responds to through the expression method of collage. I believe that the inherent flexibility of photography lies in this creative act itself, and in the spiral transformation itself. I am looking forward to walking through the landscape of "another Shinjuku," which has already left my hands, based on Mr. Yoshida's concept.
