Beautiful antique Japanese Arita Imari dish dating to the Meiji period (circa 1890-1910). This finely potted porcelain plate features a traditional Kakiemon-style palette with underglaze cobalt blue, iron red, and soft green enamels. The decoration showcases floral sprays and scrolling motifs arranged in radiating panels around a detailed blue central medallion. The dish has an elegant petal-edge, fluted rim that adds depth and movement to the design. A wonderful example of late 19th-century Japanese export porcelain, ideal for collectors of Imari ware, Japanese ceramics, or as a striking decorative accent. Perfect for display, shelf styling, or inclusion in an Imari or Asian ceramics collection. Condition Good antique condition consistent with age. There is visible rim wear and a small rim chip with glaze loss (see close-up photos), along with light surface wear and firing imperfections typical of Meiji-period porcelain. No cracks or repairs observed. The decoration remains vibrant and well-preserved overall. Size • Diameter: approx. 20 cm(8 inches) • Height: approx. 3.5 cm Material • Hand-painted glazed porcelain (Arita ware) Box 3
